Update

Hi! Today I will be doing an update. By that I mean what I am reading, what books are on my TBR, what I am watching, and all around basic questions! Hope you enjoy! If you can answer any or all of these questions, please do in the comments below!

What am I Reading Right Now?

A Match Made in Mehendi

A Match Made-In Mehendi By Nandini Bajpai

About:

Fifteen-year-old Simran “Simi” Sangha comes from a long line of Indian vichole-matchmakers-with a rich history for helping parents find good matches for their grown children. When Simi accidentally sets up her cousin and a soon-to-be lawyer, her family is thrilled that she has the “gift.”

But Simi is an artist, and she doesn’t want to have anything to do with relationships, helicopter parents, and family drama. That is, until she realizes this might be just the thing to improve her and her best friend Noah’s social status. Armed with her family’s ancient guide to finding love, Simi starts a matchmaking service-via an app, of course.

But when she helps connect a wallflower of a girl with the star of the boys’ soccer team, she turns the high school hierarchy topsy-turvy, soon making herself public enemy number one.

What I Think So Far:

I am only about 2 chapters in, but its getting good. I am a little confused about whether their family is a matchmaking company, or interior designers. In the first chapters they mention a little about matchmaking , but more about interior designing. I think they family is a matchmaking company, but has a hobby of interior designing. I am sure as I read more it will become more clear! I found this book at the public library and completely forgot about it until I found it at the bottom of my book stack! If you like YA, and romance this is the book for you. I will mostly likely do a book review once I finish.

What Am I Watching?

Grey's Anatomy Season 16 Return Date Revealed by ABC | Grey's Anatomy

I am currently in the middle of watching season 3 of Grey’s Anatomy. It is quite good so far, definitely confusing, but so addictive! I wrote a post explaining more about the show, and whether its good. If you want to read that post click here!

I am also re-watching Mamma Mia #1! I have seen both one and two, but am re-watching! You can no longer find these movies on Netflix, sadly. I found it on Amazon Prime and rented it. If you want to know more about this movie click here! I personally LOVED the movie! Especially the dances, and songs! This is mostly a kid-friendly movie.

A Book On my TBR

It's Not Summer Without You (Summer, #2)
Image and information from Goodreads

On the top of my TBR is….

Its Not Summer Without You By Jenny Han

Plot:

Last year, all of Belly’s dreams came true and the thought of missing a summer in Cousins Beach was inconceivable. But like the rise and fall of the ocean tide, things can change– just like that. Suddenly the time she’s always looked forward to most is something she dreads. And when Jeremiah calls to say Conrad has disappeared, Belly must decide how she will spend this summer: chasing after the boy she loves, or finally letting him go.

Why Its at The Top Of My TBR?

This book is on the top if my TBR because I have just finished the first book, ordered this one, and the third book of the series! I can not wait to read all of them and do a book review! Completely recommend this trilogy if you liked To All The Boys Ive Loved Before! Jenny Han also has another book series called Burn For Burn. I have not read Burn for Burn, but probably will by the end of 2020.
